Cultured marble and synthetic marble are one and the same.
The process for both is a makeup of 21% polyester resin, 79% raw material which consists of a dust filler also known as marble mite.
While marble mite comes in a standard color and is influenced by secondary pigmentation for the initial color and a third pigmentation is added for veining.
The advantage of synthetic marble is that it can be somewhat styled to fit the design needs of a specific project.
It mimics the look and feel of marble and is made of marble powder, resins and pigmentations.
